| Yorkie Carrier/Purse I've been doing some research to find a quality purse-size carrier for my Yorkie pup both for when she comes home and as she grows to adult size. I'd like something that I can both carry over my shoulder and by the handles (hopefully) and that will blend in when I am in stores, etc. so that it is comfortable for her; but doesn't shout "dog inside here!" I'd really appreciate any suggestions... thank you so much

| suggestion You will find that many of us on here love kwigy bo alex carriers. But, the only problem is that if there is a question as to if your baby will be more or less than 5-6 pounds full grown, you may want the larger size~just in case. Other than that. My number one suggestion~ make sure it is fully enclosed (it can zip up all the way so that that cute little head, or more, won't pop out of the bag)! There are many great carriers out there (and I have had most). I'm obsessed with carriers and so is my little one. It is the one thing she LOVES (she's not a fan of toys) so that is what she gets for birthdays, christmas, or just because. I do have a few of my carriers that I am selling so that I can make room for more I have one that I loved when my little girl was a puppy because it had a zipper expansion to make it bigger as the dog grew. If you want info on the ones that I have, just let me know and I'll send you an email with pics and info on each one. |

| Worth the price I have to say that the pricey bags are worth it. Not only are the built better, but if you get a common inexpensive one from target, petsmart, etc. People recognize them more easily. I've only gotten caught one an it was in a target carrier. I got rid of it the next day. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I love Celltei - such quality! They usually have a clearance section where you can get incredible deals too.

| My Bella is 8.5 lbs and LONG. I have a Juicy one that I used about 4 times...it's so uncomfortable for her :-( so now, i'm looking into the Kwigy Bo Alex or the Celltei. I'm liking the Celltei because you can change the lengths and all that! But I love the style of the Alex a lot more...now, I have to decide! |

| Thanks so much to everyone for your feedback! I really like the look of the Kwigy-Bo Alex and the Marylou. My girl is expected to be about 5 lbs. -- any advice on size of the carrier? The Alex is 17 L x 11 H x 8 W and the Marylou is 16 x 9 x 8. Do you think the 2" difference is height is important? Thanks again!

| just a thought on the dimensions It would depend on how long you plan on having the dog in there, if you want it to meet any travel requirements, etc. But, I will say that I prefer the Alex over the other bc~ it is that height throughout the whole bag and that wide throughout the whole bag. The other, if I am remembering correctly is a rounded bag, meaning that the tallest point is that high, but tapers down quickly in height and the width is only that wide in the center, smaller at the top and bottom, which can really cut down on how much room they have to turn around etc. It would depend on you and what you would be most comfortable carrying and how much room you want your dog to have. |

I think I might actually go with the Alex...I have been looking at it for a couple of months now, but I just wanted to be sure that my pup might fit into it...hopefully she will :-) i would love to carry her around with me more often..then just leaving her at home whenever i'm out. | |

| I have the Kwigy Bo Alex in the large size and LOVE it!! Couver is 6.8 pounds, and it is perfect for him. I think that it could fit a dog up to 8 pounds. I have taken him everywhere with me: pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, meetings, banks, doctors appointments etc and have never been caught It is an awesome bag! The only problem I have is because I got a lighter color, it gets dirty.

| okay i have to ask, Do they not suffocate being zipped into those purses for long shopping trips? How in the world do you keep them from barking, whining, or crying while out in public?? I really like the idea of a disguised dog bag so i can sneak her everything, but will she have to be a certain age to learn to be good in there and be quiet?? |

| I think most of our babies don't wanna stay home alone...am I right? Lol. Louis doesn't really bark o.O and specially if we're out...he will be quiet , lay down and enjoy the car ride .
