| I have an Animals Matter car seat by LA Dog Company I got it when my dog was 12 weeks old. He had an accident in it, pooped and since I was on the interstate had to stay in it for about 20 minutes. When I finally got him home and cleaned up I was able to peel the cover off of the foam and wash it. The foam was dry to the bone so I sprayed it with Nature's Miracle. The high quality sewing and fabric stood up to a beating! I would buy another one in a heartbeat. |

| I bought one for Gucci a long time ago but I hardly use it. He shakes so much when I put him in it and tries to jump on my lap. Once he was danging on the side of the booster. I don't know why he gets so scared when I put him in it...I guess he got used to riding on my lap. After that I made sure the little leash is shorter so he can't jump out. When ever I put him in it now he just lays down shaking and never lifts his head ...miserable ride for him I guess. He hates me... |

| Hi TLC. You asked where I bought the Animals Matter car seat for Chase. Funny, he's sleeping in it right now as I'm making breakfast. When he sees us getting ready to leave he either hops into his bag or into his car seat. He's so cute. PawPalaceOnline :: It cost 179.00 I bought http://www.pawpalaceonline.com/images/amseat20S2.jpgthe one up to 20 pounds. I know it was expensive...but a great investment if it will keep him secure and happy. Good luck. I got it in grey to match the color in the car. I use it in the back seat but it does fit in the front seat too. Just be sure to turn the air bag off. |

| I will say that indeed a carrier, while not sporty looking, is much more safe, it will not roll around if you restrain it with the safety belt! I run the safety belt thru the handle and snap it into the other half of the belt holder or what ever it is called. It holds the carrier tight. I use it when we go to the vets That being said, for fun car rides or small trips we use a hard plastic platform with an attachment for the collar. It has a sheepskin cover and a hidden food and water with a snap on cover. We found it at Petsmart, but it is sold over the internet at various sources and from the Fosters and Smith catalog. That is the one in my car. I have it in the rear middle seat and she can see out the window or lay down and sleep. Daddy has the outward hound seat in the back I can't remember the name of the one in my car but I like it much better than the outward hound seat. Too soft and flimsey I think. but they can see out the window with that one. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Has anyone tried the "sleepypod" bed/carseat? This is my very first post and I will be getting my first Yorkie in Aug. I as so excited to find YorkieTalk for all the information I have learned. The tiny dog world is very new to me and I will need all the advise I can read on YorkieTalk. I found the "sleepypod" online and was wondering if anyone has tried it and would share their opinion with me as it is expensive but impressive looking. Sleepypod.com |

Normally we use a snoozer oversized carseat and both dogs travel in it together.

| I have car seats for all 3 of mine. It's cute the looks we get at stop lights or drive thru's when someone looks over and see 3 dogs sitting nicely in a row in the back seat. Yogi and Gracie Ruth are both around 4 lbs and fit in this seat comfortably. They can sit up or lay down as they choose. I have the clip adjusted so that they are securely fastened inside of the seat. Boo is 10 lbs and needed a stonger more secure feeling seat. This one works perfectly for him. Again he can sit or lay down, but the clip is adjusted so that it holds him securely on the seat. Here's G, patiently waiting for me to be done taking silly pictures so that we can go shopping. You can barely see Boo's seat in the middle and then Yogi's on the far side. Lets Go Momma.JPG We got both types at PetSmart and my only complaint is that it came with a plastic clip. I replaced that with a metal one and I wrap the strap that goes around the head rest twice.
