| ![]() Def use the pad. We use always ultrathin and I cut up my husbands old undershirts, attach the pad, wrap it around Snickers, and secure it with a velcro band. Works perfect! The fatter the pad and band are, the easier it is for them to wiggle out. Good luck!

| ![]() I use a Poise liner/pad. Its ultra thin and its like a panty liner. I cut it in half and put it in the belly band. Its nice b/c you don't have to wash the band near as often b/c if he does mark is is usually just on the pad. Good luck!

| ![]() I make belly bands for my fosters and some of the fosters in the rescue. The ones that I make don't need pads. They are made using hospital pads between the fabric. I think they work great! |

| ![]() I use Winn Dixie overnight pads in Bogeys belly band. Most days it's dry when I get home, if not it's usually due to unexpected company in the middle of the day! He knows when his band goes on treats are to follow!!

I am thinking of doing that since I have two that pull the pads out. Do you put fabric all around....or just over the top that will be against his body? The other side of those pads is not made to get wet...so I am thinking that could be the outer side that does not touch the pup.

| ![]() thankfully, we are past the belly band stage now, but i didn't know you COULD use pads with them! (wish i had found you guys 4 months ago).... i just used the belly bands i bought at petco, rinsed them out when they were used, and had no issues at all. but i have to say, my little guy got his changed pretty quick after wetting them, so that probably made all the difference. |

| ![]() My mom's company makes belly bands and she says she has a lot of customers who appreciate the ease of cleaning that cutting 1/2 of an ultrathin maxi gives. I think it's funny that even the men will go out and buy the maxis for their dogs. HAH! |
