Ever heard of this place http://www.vetmedsforpets.com/catalog/ I located this website and I noticed the pricing is great on their flea medication and their freight costs are great too. Has anyone else ever used them? Yes it is in Canada. Even with health insurance as it is the mail order prescriptions received for self with my health insurance are from Canada.

I had told my vet i was interested in using one of the websites like petmeds, and she was pretty strict with me about not using it. she said the products were not necesarily the exact ones the vet would provide.... but i've never used any of those sites, so that's all i can say!

| A lot of these products are not made for United States and not USDA approved, buyer be wear. Been there done that. My Vet is the one that told me to check it out before ordering. He didn't have a problem giving prescription for Sentinel or any other product I could buy cheaper. I thanked him for the warning and did my homework and it was true. Packaging looks different to.

vetmedsforpets -- possible scam I just ordered from vetmedsforpets.com --- I'm concerned that I may have been scammed. Unconfirmed Paypal address. Phone # listed on whois.com is invalid. And their URL appears on a warning site about possible bad pharmacies... I put a complaint in through Paypal. We'll see what happens. May have just made a $100 mistake. Ugh. Until I post back here... DO NOT USE vetmedsforpets.com --- WARNING! I will delete this message if they turn out to be legit. I'm pretty sure I'm hosed.

I just did the same maybe mistake. I sent an email inquiring why no Rx was needed and where was the order being shipped from. The reply was that the product was registered in either the UK or Australia, which does not require an RX, that the product was purchased from a wholesale provider (like US distributors with the only difference being packaging), and was being drop-shipped from either Australia or New Zealand. Sounds like it could be a scam, or a loop-hole business. I belong to some fora that have several active Ausie members, so I will see if I can get more info from them.

@haydog -- I filed a grievance through Paypal. Someone from their website DID refund my money... though I still don't know if it's a legitimate company. I doubt it. If you Google them they show up on some red-flagged medical websites. Even their whois address is a phony. I would use Paypal and your bank to try and stop payment. I think Paypal has the muscle to get your money back.
