Senior Yorkie Talker | Frontline Plus Not Working???? Is anyone having an issue with Frontline Plus. I have been using this on my 4-year-old since she was 1 and the puppy has just had his second application on the first of this month. They both have fleas. Either the fleas are becoming immuned to this product, or it is simply not working. I would love to hear some of your experiences with Frontline. Thank you... Lisa |

| I know this might be a stupid question but have you de flead the house, all the bedding everywhere the dogs go? If you do not find the root of the problem no amount of frontline will fix it. Many years ago I had to move out of my old apt. for a few days and have the place bombed to get rid of everything. |

| hi Im not an expert in the subject, but did you contact an exterminator? I think you need to bath the puppies, clean the house, then contact an exterminator. the fleas leave the larvae all over your house, so that's how they get the fleas again. take care

| I'm just curious but did you buy it from your vet or a place that you know is 100% legit? I'm only bringing this up because there are TONS of places online that are selling FAKE Frontline. I just thought I'd throw that out there.

| My 150 lb Mastiff had fleas at the end of the summer, and our Vet said that Frontline is not working on fleas any longer- they have become resistant to Frontline. They don't even sell Frontline at the Vet offices around here any longer.... |

| I'm sorry it's not working for you. Maybe talk to your vet about this. Good Luck

| frontline didn't work well for me either and I hated how it left a sticky film on the hair. I liked advantage and it worked well but because I bathe my dogs every week I would have to reapply every three weeks. I'm trying comfortis this year. It's an oral tablet that lasts a month and I've heard it works well

| My vet put Reuger on Comfortis when we were having such a problem with fleas and I love it!! I just gave him his second month dose and so far we haven't had any problems. Comfortis kills the fleas within 30 minutes of getting on the dog. Reuger was having such a time with flea dermitis and it's a whole lot better now. I love not having to worry about has it been long enough since he's had a bath or not having to bathe for a few days after giving Frontline Plus. The only thing that concerns me is that Comfortis doesn't have tick protection and we have ticks here.

Senior Yorkie Talker | No infestation....spray all bedding, carpets, had the carpet cleaned, discarded the vaccuum bag...the works. No one has ever seen a flea in the house, nor is anyone getting bit....just the animals....I am not seeing lots of them, just one at a time and they are fast as hell.... |
