| The perfect summer carrier...does it exist? Hi everyone, I am looking for a summer carrier. My Bella goes every place I go (yes, literally every place) so I need a carrier that has the privacy sides and one that closes completely on top. I have many, many bags that she can stick her head out of the top and many leather bags. I do have the Kwigy Bo that is mostly fabric...I think it's the Allyson. (I could be wrong about the name..it's all black.) But it get's hot here in the summer and it has occured to me that a leather bag could get hot. She is only in it when she absolutely has to be but I think in the summer a lighter bag would be better. Does anyone, who carries their baby in a bag regularly have any expierence with a summer bag? Is there such thing as a summer bag? Maybe the fabric bag I have is enough? Although it does not have the privacy flaps on it. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks, Romeo and Bella's Mom |

| Can those be closed so Bella doesn't have the opportunity to stick her head out? Also, what makes them a summer bag - the material they are made of? Do they have venting on the side, if so does the venting have the privacy flaps? |

| I bought one for Veer from petfly its the Humble Paws. Welcome To Pet Fly's - Trendy, Edgy, Airline approved pet carriers for traveling in style, comfort and safety on board a plane, train, automobile or just hanging out with you. My veer loves it. its also airline safe. It also allows me to put my hand in and pet him or keep my hands in, while the bag is hanging on my shoulders. Its trendy and we even took him in it to restaurants. Last edited by KSV; 02-27-2009 at 09:56 AM. |

| The celltei bags I have all have a little mesh pocket inside to put a blue ice type thing in to keep them cool. (or a hot pack in winter to keep them warm). They also have water available in a small leakproof bottle. I really like mine. I have way too many bags and three of them are Cellteis. Maybe you could adapt one of the bags you already have to hold a frozen blue ice thingee. If it already has an interior pocket maybe you could put one in there. Just a thought... Basic Pak-o-Pet Water Bottle - 8 oz (No Leak, No Drip!)

| Wow, I love the idea of the ice pak and of the water bottle. I have a "doggie" water bottle that I carry but I looked at the website and really like theirs. Thank you so much for the website and the ideas! Romeo and Bella's Mom |

I LOVE that one! I didn't buy one last year because S'anah hates carriers. I am hoping they have it again this year because now I have Norman and he doesn't mind them. If not, I'll just use the Vera Bradley I have. Its nice and light weight.

| I can take some for you. I'll do it in the morning. They really are nice bags. I like mine because its not heavy, its roomy without being bulky, and has a decent storage pocket.

| I went to look for this really cute & roomy straw carrier that Suzy gave me that came from Petedge & I couldn't find it - must not sell it anymore - which is too bad as it was the perfect bag - especially because it was roomy for my 2 & everyone always comments on how cute it is. But look what I found! I think I'll get this for summer and it does have a total zip shut top PetEdge: East Side Collection Nautical Pet Carriers
