Searching for a safe playpen

I just purchased the plastic play yard pictured above at a Menards in their pet department for $70.00. I'm planing to configure it to leave an end open to go up against the pet door that we have to go outside.

I just got the Iris CI-604 Commercial Grade Plastic Pen. My breeder uses it, and I liked it. I ordered from Amazon.com- it was $59.99 with free shipping.

I used two eye bolts on either side of the doggie door and I put two large two sided hooks on the play yard to hook it on either side of the doggie door so they can't get anywhere else. I don't have a photo of it right now, but if you need an idea.

They used to be so good with babies, but, they were much younger when my youngest niece was born.

I have been considering that pink plaid playpen for Lady, too. I have a four year old and now three month old grandchildren and I am looking for something safe to put her in when they come to visit, especially when the baby gets mobile. Lady is an angel and would never snap and my granddaughter is very good with her, but kids are busy and I am always afraid she is going to get stepped on. I actually put her in the stroller sometimes to keep her safe which works pretty well. My granddaughter loves to push her all over my house and Lady loves to ride in her stroller!

I've put my girls in their stroller to keep them safe from being stepped on, too. At two years of age, my twin grandsons move F-A-S-T.

I was stunned when my girls snapped at the boys.

I'm thinking the playpen might be good for my three month old grandson, too! When they came to visit a few weeks ago, my daughter spread a blanket on the floor in the middle of the living room and laid him on it. I had my whole family over and my sister brought her Jack Russell. My granddaughter loves to play fetch with her. I don't know who I was more worried about getting stepped on, Lady or my grandson!

You know, I was thinking the same thing. My son and daughter-in-law are planning another baby, and I think the playpen would keep the new baby safe from the twins falling on the baby, and my girls licking the baby's face. I tell the girls "no kisses" until babies are old enough to decide if they want them. They love babies until they're really running!

Just the regular/small i think...i think the only difference in the size is the height.
