| You can get them everywhere, from petco to safeway. They come in sizes from 3 in to 24 in long. They are so popular and dogs love them.

| Thanks for the info! I've been wondering what was so special about them. That's very interesting.

| My Sasha absolutely LOVES loofas. I'm on #2 already and it's only a matter of time that this one gets destroyed. It's definitely one of her favorites. I highly recommend this toy. |

| Are they those long things?? They are made from Loofah? What part? They just seem like fabric and stuffing to me. Brooklyn likes them but destroys them in no time.

That's what I always thought were the loofah toys, those long stuffed dogs in every color and holiday theme, only I never made the connection to the loofah gourd either. Mine have never torn one apart, maybe I will now, just to see

| They are very good for your dog. The stuffing is just normal stuffing, the outside is the part made from the Loofah plant. Im not sure is the dog toy and the loofah you use in the shower are from the same plant. I just know that they are good for your dog and its health. Im so glad i let my little girl use them.

| It seems that the term is used quite loosely. Most that I have seen that are spelled with an H at the end are the usually the actual loofah, but there are lots of loofa toys that have no Loofah in them. I think most of them that you see are not made from Loofah. They are made from terry cloth or canvas, even latex. Ah ha, that seems kind of deceptive on the mfgrs part. Now I'll have to get another real loofah (besides my bath time one) and let mine try chewing on it. I could see where the real loofahs could benefit teeth.

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | I bought the loofa balls from Petedge, and they lasted 2 minutes (literally). My guys just shredded them instantly, and left a lovely mess.

| LoL this is so funny cause i didnt even realize i had a loofa toy until i looked at the pictures. I took Pasquale to the pet store when we were in Florida last month and told him to pick out a toy...well this is the toy he grabbed and carried around the entire store with him! He LOVES this toy! I was going to leave it at the Florida house BUT he loved it so much i had to bring it back up to Boston with us so he could play with it. We call it Mr. Squeekers and everytime i say "go get Mr Squeekers", he runs and get hims LoL its so cute. But Yeah he absolutely loves it !
