Hi Joy, Sorry about that. I didn't think of posting and offering a discount to members until yesterday when I was talking to a customer who is also a member of this group. But, you can always get the discount on your next order. There's no expiration date for the discount I have a ton of new bows to add to the website if I can ever find the time to add them. Just not enough hours in the day. LOL Connie

| Hi - Connie, I love your site! I've never put bows in Penny's hair before; I always thought it was ridiculous. It seems the longer we have her, the more I want to try clothing and bows! Anyway, what is recommended to start out with? I saw a note about barettes, too. Her hair in the front isn't very long because I've always tried to keep it out of her eyes. Here is a pic. Thanks to all for any suggestions! |

Hi there! Since Penny isn't used to wearing bows, I don't recommend the bows with barrettes just yet. Simply because the barrette makes the bow heavier which can be very bothersome to a dog who's not used to having something in their head. Is Penny used to having her hair up in bands? If not, you might just pull it back in grooming bands for her to get used to that first. Then once she seems okay with that, I'd try putting a lightweight 3/8" or 5/8" bow on her (depending on how big she is). I would go with the most lightweight bow you can find first. The idea at first is for her to forget that it's up there. If it's too heavy or bothersome all she'll do with her time is work to get the bow off. This of course depends on the dog. Some dogs know they have something special on their heads and love it and the attention they get. Other dogs, like my Candy, hate the bows at first and will do anything to get them out. I had to band Candy's hair in 2 places and but her bow inbetween the 2 bands in order for her not to get the bow out. LOL Hope that helps. Maybe someone else has other suggestions. Hi Carolyn, Thanks, glad to be here. Hey, and Thank you so much for recommending my website. I can put all the adds I can afford in every magazine and every google add space, but word of mouth is the best advertisement. Thanks! By the way, I'd love to add Brutus' picture to my website. hint hint Hugs, Connie www.lawdogbows.com

| Connie, I just received Chloe's bows and they are so cute .You do such a wonderful job. I can't wait to put them in her hair. She doesnt have much on top yet (only 13 wks.) but maybe just enough. The instructions are great and the bonus gifts are adorable. Thank you so much. Can't wait to order more for the holidays!!!! Joy, Nikki and Chloe Rose |

Oh, you're very welcome! Thank you so much for your purchase. I'd love to add a picture of Chloe in her new bow to my website. I just purchased great ribbon to make more Holiday bows. Now, if I could only find the time to make something out of them. LOL. But, really be sure to check back cause I should have new Holiday bows added soon. I also got some 5/8" width Camoflage ribbon in so I can make some Camo bows in the 5/8" size that everyone has been requesting. I actually try to add new bows every week so people don't get bored of shopping my website.

Aww, thanks! I fell in love with that hibiscus button as soon as I saw it. I love color. LOL You have a really cute website too. You have great pictures too. I wish I could take good pictures. I need to take Digital photography class 101. Most of the time I just use the scanner cause it's much quicker and easier but it sure makes the bows look flat. Thanks! Connie www.lawdogbows.com
