| Shampoo Any good suggestions out there? My oldest Yorkie has been fine with the shampoo/conditioner we've used for almost 2 yrs. Our 14 wk old is rolling around and scratching like she has fleas (but she doesnt!). Any suggestions? |

| I only use three and I alternate. They are: 1. Minksheen (#1favorite, it also has a bug repellant in it) Buddy has a silky coat and this only adds even more of a sheen to it. 2. Cranberry Fields Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner ( love it too) 3. PetSilk Shampoo and Conditioner (least favorite but good) Hope this helps you, Scratching can also be diet. What is he eating? |

| I have heard of the minksheen, i think i'll try that one! I just ordered it. Her diet is the food the breeder gave me for right now since we only got her last week. But since we flew her home, we had to give her a bath b/c she had a little accident on the flight and was all sticky and gross. I'm thinking its probably the shampoo/conditioner we used on her. Her coat is more silky than my other Yorkies coat, so we probably have to switch it up....thanks for the advice!! |

| We LOVE Espree! I use the show shine shampoo & conditioner and just recently got the remoisterizing conditioner and absolutely love it. Left my babies coat so soft and also helps with the knots. I finish their coat with the shine spray. I like it better than Petsilk. |

| MinkSheen is my all time favorite. We have also used and liked Coat Handlers and Cranberry Fields. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I would want to find out why she is itching. Some Yorkies are allergic to the corn that is in some dog foods, while others have no problem with it. Does the food your food have corn as one of the ingredients? Also, rinsing is a very important part of shampooing, any shampoo that is made for dogs should be ok, except maybe Hartz, I read some bad things about that. I think it's important to use a conditioner as well, and of course rinse thoroughly. Some people have recommended oatmeal-based shampoos for dogs with sensitive skin.

| I have very thick coated babies and I use my Matrix Biolage Hydrating Shampoo and Matrix Sleek Looks conditioner, The combo makes them so shiny and silky and manageable. Their coats are not as silky as some I've seen so this helps.

| I use Biolage shampoo and conditioner on Bentley. The conditioner leaves his coat so softs and silky smooth. I've used it on him for 8 years and I love his coat!!

| Which one do you use? Hydrating? Funny, I thought I would have seen a reply that recommend only using pet products. He He He

| I have coat handler and the first time i used it, it made Dezi's hair like pure spun silk. Everytime since, her hair looks fried. I wonder why?
