| Emergency Carpet Cleaning! My puppy has developed a bad habit of peeing on our berber carpet... but I've noticed that he's started to pee in the same areas, which leads me to believe that eventhough we've "cleaned and wiped up" the pee stains from previous accidents, he can still smell his scent in those areas. My friend suggested steam cleaning or using carpet product that takes away or neutralizes the odor in the carpet... so he won't go in the same places. Any suggestions on some really GREAT products? I've purchased a ton of cleaning products but I want something that I know will do the trick! We need some heavy duty help- my bedroom smells musty and I want it gone! I'm getting desperate so I was thinking of buying a mini steam vacuum from WalMart or something- does anyone know if this will work? Thanks a ton! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have a steam cleaner and I try and to the carpets every 2-4 weeks. It does help but after awhile I can smell urine again. What worked best for me was I sprayed Nature's Miracle all over the carpets and rubbed it in and then let it sit and then used the steam cleaner to extract the excess water. I think I am going to have Sears come out and do a professional cleaning soon. I hope you get some good suggestions I could use them too.

| I use Get Serious Pet Stain, Odor and Pheromone Extractor. I got it from Petsmart and it seems to do the trick!

| Has anyone used vinegar for pet stains and/or odors? What were your results? I have my own carpet cleaning machine and was thinking of adding a dab of vinegar to the carpet cleaning solution. What ya think?? |
