Thank you for your thoughts...and yes, I do feel for her...no doubt about it.

I started this post to see if I was the only one or if others were having issues getting theirs....I didn't start it to bad mouth Mellisa...in fact, I even PM'ed her to let her know I was going to post this.

I am a very patient person and I know what it takes to handmake quilts...my grandmother (who is close to 90) is still making quilts and my daughter & I normally help her out when we can. So, yes, I understand the concept of quilt making. And I am not a single mother, but I have close friends who have 2, 3, 4 kids that are single parents...and I know what a hardship that can be.

I have communicated w/ Mellisa all that I can....we chatted for a long time and then after the second or so "reason" for no quilts, our communication drifted. --and that was before your son got sick. I never received pictures of the completed or even damaged quilts....I asked and asked...and I finally got pictures of the cut squares, before they were pieced together. AND I know w/ anything handmade...you can't expect it in month...and I never did.

I'm still not saying anything bad about her....because I have enjoyed our chats....I just wanted to be reassured that this wasn't just me not getting my quilts and not just me that were getting different stories about them. I hate to say it, but I am glad that there are others.....I know that sounds bad, but I am just glad that it wasn't something about "me"....as petty as that may sound.

I know the last time I heard from her was when she messaged me that she wasn't trying to avoid me..that her son became ill. I haven't heard back from her, but know of others who have gotten some sort of PM message regarding their quilts.

Anyways, I let her know when I messaged her about me posting this...and I want to comment about it again for you and others...this wasn't started to bad mouth her (in anyway, shape or form)....this is an open forum where we has a Yorkie community can come together and discuss what we feel needs to be discussed. If people have had a wonderful buying experience ...that is great and this is a good place to post about it....if they haven't had a good experience buying...again, this is the place to post about it. This is the products and reviews section...and no matter if friend or foe, everyone has the right to express their concerns and/or thoughts.

You have been more than understanding about all of this! You and I both know how many lies Mellisa told about these quilts. There were many excuses and lies and her stories changed one person to the next. I still hope that she does the right thing and either sends you what you paid for or just refunds your money.

I ordered one back when she first posted and as of yet haven't received it. I ordered it for Mother's Day. Obviously it didn't make it. I'm still holding out hope. Just wish she would give me an update.

I can't believe a YT seller has set up a fake account, to lie about the order. Not cool. I really hope you all get your money back or at least want you paid for. If it were me I would just want my money back. Myzzbrat (CherryCove) you are the opposite of "The Fonz", not cool. Shame on you for lying!

Maybe she was ashamed or embarrassed after reading the posts and wasn't sure how to come back and reply & instead came under a different name to "explain"....nevertheless, that never works and isn't right and whatever the reason, be it overwhelming response, work overload, family issues, it should have just been communicated to those involved.

Sorry to those who didn't get their blankets..I hate to see this happen to honest and dedicated members...Hopefully she'll make things right with those of you she needs to when she comes back on. Communication is key!

I don't think she was embarrassed, for the reason that the CherryCove account was created in January 2008. I smell something fishy about that.
