I bought mine from another member on here (gutu) along with the leash and collar. Gutu sold it to me for $50 plus shipping. They have them on verabradley.com - Vera Bradley - Home for $97.00 (they don't even have the retiring colors on sale for the pet carrier). You might also want to check out ebay--they have some good prices on there too.

The sides are pretty well ventilated I think. If you unzip the top a little also, that should bring in enough air.
