| Need Opinions on Car Booster Seat & Carrier & Must Haves Hi, I'm getting my 1st Yorkie on March 20th and really need some feedback. I've been looking at Solvit Car Booster seats, anyone have these, likes/dislikes? Also, I can't decide on what type of carrier to get, one that hangs in the front or a sling? The breeder has said my little girl will be about 6 lbs full grown. I mostly want a carrier to wear to the park so that when she gets tired I can carry her and still have my arms free. Any other must haves? TIA. Susan |

| i recommend the my buddy look out car seat. it's the best in my opinion. we have a great front denim carrier from petsmart.i also have several shoulder type carriers. the front carrier hurts my lower back.

| Thanks Bernadette, your info was very helpful! I think I'll hold off on a carrier for now. I was concerned about lower back too. I don't think I can get the Buddy seat here in Nova Scotia and ordering it on line with shipping from the US is not an option. Thanks again! |

| We recently bought a Buddy Look Out seat and love it! The one we have is quite big but gives the boys tons of room. I LOVE my Celltei carriers and highly recommend them. (http://www.celltei.com )

| We have a look-out carseat. There are different sizes.... we have the Lookout II that works great for Shelby & Seymour. I purchased a Vera Bradley carrier. LOTS of pretty colors and prints! It is really nice and has a small zippered storage area for cash, leash, etc. Since we have 2 Yorkies, hubby will sometimes carry Seymour, and he prefers the black Sherpa Bag (something you may consider). Good Luck with your new Yorkie!!!........

| I've got a medium Snoozer Lookout which as you can see is really big. This is Gracie and Sugar and Caren's (sims8813) Mia in it yesterday and we had 4 in it some of the time with enough room.carseat.jpg I also have an Animal Matters console seat. Here is Sugar in it.sugar2.jpg As far as bags if you're just looking for one to use at the park you might like a messenger style. I got mine at Tinkerbell's Closet and I love it. In this picture I'm carrying Sugar but you can see the bag. I'm the tall one in a white tee shirt.meetup.jpg Here is a close up-bag.jpg Don't let his silly expression fool you- he loves it. We had a YT meetup yesterday and I couldn't get him out of his bag the whole day. Welcome to YT!

| Depending on what you do for hobbies, or if you travel, a stroller is also very handy. We have an RV and go to different campgrounds. Also if there are any festivals, it is handy (keeps Furbutts away from bigger dogs and "Grabby" kids). I have a Pet Gear all-terrain stroller. We use it when we go to Petsmart, too!! (Our Petsmart is always so very busy, and lots of bigs dogs with their owners) ......... sometimes we take LONG walks when we are camping and the stroller allows Shelby & Seymour go with us - we don't have to carry them 1/2 the time.

Donating YT Addict | We are a 2 car seat family since Daddy drops him off at daycare and I pick him up. My husband has the Solvit car seat and we both really like that although we had to put a fleece blanket in the bottom to boost Ozzy up a little. I have the Lookout II and really like that one too but it is bigger and bulkier than the Solvit. (and more expensive) I would go with the Solvit and use your extra money towards a nice playpen. That is a definate MUST have!!

| I just bought the snoozer my buddy car seat and love it! Both Benji and Bella did great staying in it on our trim to Alabama over the weekend. I wish I would have gotten it sooner!
