| Another Use for an X-Pen I thought I'd share this good idea we came up with. My husband spends lots of time in our two car garage with the door open. It's his "man lounge"! Our pups like to be out there with him. We put some eye bolts in the wood at each side of the garage door opening and attached one end of our x-pen to both sides so that the fencing expands the width of the opening. Now the dogs can be out there with their dad but can't get out of the garage!

That's exactly what my hubby did! The kids LOVE it. I found some large dog pillows at Longs Drug store for $5 last year so I threw a couple of them outthere for them. We leave it up all the time so we don't have to worry about them "escaping". Great post. I forgot all about it.

| Yet another use! Wonderful idea! I also bought a small animal x-pen. Suitable for guinea pigs and bunnies. I then bent the steel loops that connect the panels and separated it into three panel pieces. I now have three gates! They accordion closed when not in use, and work well to wedge in door openings or to confine them to a room. Hugs, Joy

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | We used to do that too, but hubby went and bought that plastic white latice panels and made a fence across the garage with a gate big enough to let my grandsons quarter midget in. Works fantastic. And it is attractive looking from the outside. |
