| Clothing Help Hey Everyone! I'm having a bit of a dilemma. I have fifty dollars (Hooray for income taxes!) to spend on clothing for Buddy. I've gone through almost every link on the online clothing thread, but I'm apprehensive because I've never bought clothes online before. Where can I find inexpensive but quality made clothing? I would like to get him 3-4 shirts or harnesses because he only has one tshirt...

| Have you checked at your local Old Navy, Target, petsmart, etc? Sometimes, you can find cute things there. Someone mentioned once that Dollar Tree stores carry dog clothing now, but I don't know. Go.fetch is having a sale right now too. Cindy, chattiesmom, is making tees (no site, but you can pm her) and she makes wonderful silk harnesses/leashes/collars. I think Tinkerbellscloset.com is having a spring sale, so you might find some harness vests there. And I believe chloebella boutique was having a sale too... If you buy tee shirts from barkindogclothes (or from anywhere) do not have the d-ring added on...this will pull on the shirt/neck too much and stretch it out...so when wearing a tee, it is always best to have a harness on over it.

| Thank you everybody for your suggestions! Buddy will be excited too Oh, does anyone else have a problem with their furbaby peeing on their clothes? The tshirt I have fits him but it's a bit long and goes right down to his "area." I generally his tshirt up when he goes outside but when he marks somewhere in the house he does it on the sly and goes all over his clothes Will I experience this will all the tshirts I buy for him?

| All the custom made items will be made so they don't go past a certain area. Like harness vests...we like them longer on the back, some are just made one length for back and belly, but we like them longer on the back than on the belly....Jodie at chloebella boutique is great about doing this...as is Jodie (luvmysissy - sissyangelwear). --most people will make to what your length is that you like. As for shirts....I always get a size small in most tee's for Mojo because he has a lot of hair that is longer...so an XS just bunches up all of his hair....anyway, the size small is longer, but I just pin up the area on the belly.

| harness shirts I make custom fit harness shirts and they are $12.99 Here are a few pics of ones I currently have. I use a 2000 lb test weight webbing down the d-ring strap. It is hidden inside fabric so that it doesn't take away from the appearance of the shirt. Hope you find what you are looking for. Thanks Melinda www.sassy-petwear.com |
