So true Kim I have found mine would rather sleep in a Comfy cute bed. I am sure Pixie at least would Chew the Wicker one. Although I Love Wicker. I would not trust mine not to chew it.

Thanks all for bringing up the issue of chewing. Penny doesn't chew, but I guarantee Riley would try it out. I really don't care if the bed I buy is wicker or not; I'm just looking for a hooded/covered area because that's what Penny loves.

From my experience, dogs like to chew the wicker. I've had 2 of them for 2 different dogs and both of them have chewed the wicker and it has splintered and has been dangerous...

But it may be different for you.

No, I believe that Riley will, and I'm thankful to everyone for pointing that out. I'll just keep searching for the right bed!

You'll find the perfect bed eventually. And even if you find another that's even better, it won't go astray. I have 2 beds for Suzy, one next to my bed and one in her fave spot in the sunlight.

Wicker Bed

I love that little bed! Sadie would be fine in it but, Lillie would chew it! She is 18 months old and if she gets bored she chews things...especially if I leave them alone.
