| [News] Thanks for saving our Yorkie Home Community News - Southern New Hampshire NEIGHBORS > THANK YOU LETTERS Thanks for saving our YorkiePublished: Wednesday, August 1, 2007 Saturday July 28th, we were visited by Angel or Good Samaritan who saved our pet Yorkshire Terrier. My husband had a medical appointment and while he was leaving, in the heavy rain, our dog tried to follow him without my husband realizing it. A wonderful woman found him wondering in the middle of Highland street and scooped him up and in the pouring rain looked for the family who might have lost him. She happen to ring our bell and I was so excited but in horror on how our little dog got out in this down pour. I thank the woman again and again for bring him back but did not get her name. We would really like to see her again just to know her name and thank her properly. Rosa and Tony Layne Hudson http://www.nashuatelegraph.com/apps/...1/-1/neighbors

| Isn't it a wonderful feeling to meet someone as caring and loving as the woman who found that baby. It's so nice to know there are still good people among us and I'm so glad the angel wasn't missing very long. |

| I wanted to share a story from the other side of the coin, so you'd know how YOU made THAT lady's day too! Yesterday, my daughter was outside when a huge lab approached her very friendly. She read his tag and called him by his name, Hershey. He was instantly her best friend and velcroed himself to her. His address and phone number was on his tag. Kelly called the number but no answer. She didn't want to put the big dog in her car, since he was a stranger and she didn't know how well he rode. So she walked him over two miles to his address hoping to find a neighbor or something. She knocked on the door and was practically attacked by the happiest family you'd ever seen! The lady and her kids were dancing around and screaming. Hershey was in heaven. The lady gave Kelly $20 and hugged her so hard. When Kelly shut the door, she could still hear the family screaming inside. I can tell you that Kelly floated around on a cloud all yesterday and today. Nothing could have made her day more than returning Hershey to his family. I'm sure that your angel felt the same way!!! Congratulations!! (and put up a little fence inside the door to keep that baby inside!!)
