I found the breeder for Rocky on one of those ad sites too. I first found a more local pup but noticed the SAME pics from another breeder. I told her about it and she said she would look into it. I thought well, if I go there and see the pup and pay then I can take the puppy right home. I also contacted the "breeder" that had the pics too. He said he was going to report it. The next day I get another e-mail from the breeder and he explains that she is actually a new girl that he sends pups to to sell in california. I forgot what state he was from. I decided I didn't want to get caught up in that. That pup was $1300 and not as cute as my little Rocky

Just remember, If it sounds too good to be true, It probably is. I as a seller have also run accross scams. I found 3 different ads with my puppies pic. being advertised . Law enforcement here not interested.

I sell online alot. Have for years.

I always hope when someone uses my pics that hey were truely lazy and linked to it instead of coping cause then you can have lots of fun by changing your pic which changes thiers if linked to it.

Also photos have an automatic copyright so if someone is using them they are in violation of copyright laws.

I found my little girl on Next Day Pets. Sassy is a dream and i just love her breeder and would recomend her to anyone, but i did a lot of research and talked to her alot before i decided to go with her. Thank God i did cause Sassy is just a dream. But you do have to be careful.

While looking for my little girl i came across a lot of these scams I even found some right her int the good old U.S.of A. I'm so sorry this happened to her and yes be aware that this did happen outside of the United States but don't think it won't happen here too. Be on the lookout for all scams everywhere!

I ran into the same SCAMS when looking for my baby. I just couldn't believe that anyone could be so horrible! Luckily I found a local breeder who is wonderful...

wow i have almost been the victim to this once
same story
i asked if the female was spayed and he said no and then i said i wasnt going to buy her because i needed a feamle who was able ot reproduce and he said
" sorry i didnt know what you ment by spayed"
she was free $300 was to comver the shipping from Nigera, my mom then explained to me that it would cost alot more then $300 to fly a puppy from nigera and then i clued in but i had already given him my phone number and he started calling me and i hung up
im sorry but if they are a true breeder they wont risk insulting their clients by saying god bless not everyone is christain
i have e-amiled about 30 ppl about female yorkie ads and around 26 came back saying " god bless, gods watching over you or may the lord be with you" it insulted me and turned me off completely when they said that.

Sunniesmommy, The breeder I got rocky from still has the female. Look at Rockies blog below and see how cute he is. I got him from Jimmy at wyco farms in Missouri. She flew him out the next day and all went well. Their web address is www.wycofarms.com

I'm very happy with my puppy and Jimmie was very nice on the phone when I called her and was very helpful with any questions I had. I would deffinetly buy from her again.

lol im trying ot keep it within canada, that is where i live but in the maritime its hard to find a breeder that isnt a scam. and i dont want to fly a puppy but its looking liek thats the only way.

I know what you mean. I didn't really want to fly a pup either but couldn't find a breeder in teh area. I even asked Petsmart and the vet office-nothing other than the one I mentioned earlier in this post. I didn't want to take any chance if it didn't feel right to me.

After looking in my computer in all the sites available during months (puppyfind, livedeal etc..), I found an ad in the Miami Herald and I had the luck to find a serious breeder living just a few miles of my home. I could see my puppy and be sure that she was what I was looking for. Buy a dog in line is very risky. How can you be sure that is not a scam or a fraud.
A yorkie is not a cheap dog and I didn't want to take a chance to lose my money.
