On the puppy mill, as of today 102 have been released and LDR will probably get about 50 of those, LDR can only safely commit to take in as many as they have foster homes for. I will probably be getting one of them as Fritz will be leaving this week.

| This is so sad to see the living conditions of where these pups live. So glad ALL of these pups will be removed and given a better life as a result of being rescued. I am happy to hear you will be fostering a pup that has been rescued from this type of environment. |

| Sharon All my foster dogs have been from puppy mills. To me they are so "special" - they are so appreciative of love and care. It is wonderful to see them go from being scared and withdrawn to running "wild" in the back yard and playing with Beamer (Lil Bit isn't in to playing, she thinks it is beneath her  )Fritz has been such a joy - even though he is a hoarder and likes to take our shoes etc - I am going to miss him when he goes tomorrow. I hope his new mommie will send me pictures often (I get pictures and videos of Reno several times a week!!! LOL)

| I said the same thing about my Elvis whom I purchased about over a year ago now and soon after felt he actually qualifies in many senses as a rescue ...anyways... I had him about a year he was the perfect definition of a lap dog companion, follows me everywhere, looks at me as though I'm retarded when trying to get him to do dog stuff like get a ball, looks down his little stubby snout at the other two dogs and submits instantly when they play with toys-he is Princess' favorite toy Well all of a sudden he's chasing a ball! He's wrestling! He's playing with toys chews them! The lazer light on the floor really helped getting him active! Now Elvis still hates getting dirty outside and is still a bit (who am I kidding he's very very LOL) "prissy" but what a difference a year can make in the behvioral changes...I think he either learned to play in that time by watching the other dogs or just became confident enough...honestly I think he just learned how to though.
