| ![]() With a heavy heart, hugging my babies, and tears in my eyes I write this. I feel so sorry and hurt for the little yorkie. Every dog should have a loving home, and people who really care for them. What a shame what these kids are learning from a parent. I am so happy I brought mine up much better than that, and grandchildren also. Bless the lady that stayed with the dog, the Vet that stopped, and others that helped this little baby. May he survive, and find a wonderful loving home. Prayers to all that helped. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() That is crazy, how can people own a dog or any kind of pet and not want it, thats horrible. I feel for those people who stopped to help the little dog, I myself have witnessed a dog being hit by a car and it is a terrible thing to witness or experience. |

| ![]() Thank God for people like you. I just can't imagine a person not caring about animals especially dogs (man's best friend). I have 9 dogs myself, 6 being yorkies, and i guess we are just blessed with loving hearts. Thank you again for the assistance you gave that precious dog. My prayers are with him during his recovery. Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() That's a very sad story. These people obviously lacked empathy for living things, so did the kids. That reminds me the story my friend told me recently about his neighbour's daughter who is 8 and he saw her playing tennis with a hamster! I still can't get my head round it, how could a 8 year old child be so cruel to a helpless animal! He obviously removed the poor roden from her but could not save it. It was badly battered with broken legs and bleeding. The next week the girl had there another two guinnie pigs and he removed them as well and then paid for them to her parents. He told them if he ever sees a pet there he will report it! Some people are just heartless, which is very worrying. I am not sure what is going to grow up from the girl either.

| ![]() Oh my! I am overwhelmed by the child who said - Dad doesn't want the dog anyway! I cannot imagine the lack of compassion these children will grow up with. A Yorkie is not just a dog. We've had other dogs, and loved them unconditionally. But I know Smokie is special. When he came to us at about a year old, he had already been thru 3-4 homes. He is now home to stay. Why can't people keep their pets put up, fence the yard, walk them, but never let them run into a busy street. I would just die if something happened to my Smokie! Thank the Lord for all who stopped because they cared. Thank you for sharing this story with us. I hope the baby fully recovers and ends up with a home where it is spoiled rotten! And loved even more. Reva |
