| i would have to think they did try to talk to her when this occured, but if you have never had a baby die in your house you will never understand how hard it is to talk to the police when they are working on the baby and if she was anything like i was when we got to the hospital they drugged me up so much to calm me down that i couldnt even walk. and when the correner came that night all i could do was franticly cry and he left. really i dont remember anything for months. and as far as leaving a child unattended i think almost all of us as mothers have left the baby in a swing while we went to the bath room, or put them in a bouncy seat while we went to make a bottle or what ever, without thinking twice. there are times you feel that everything is fine but really they arent. anything can happen in a split second and it doesnt mean neglect. i am not judging this is just my take from my experience.
