| [News] 90 Puppies Found Neglected POLK COUNTY, Fla. -- Polk County deputies and Animal Control officers found 90 puppies in a Lakeland woman's home in unacceptable living conditions. According to officials, Carolyn Bragg had been selling the puppies out of her home. The puppies were found Saturday afternoon as part of an investigation into a suspected puppy mill. The Polk County Sheriff's Office was tipped off by someone who purchased a dog from Bragg and became suspicious when the puppy didn't have a health certificate. When officials arrived at Bragg's home, they found 90 Pomeranian, Yorkshire Terrier and Pug puppies. Officials said the puppies were in fair condition, but will be examined by a veterinarian. Bragg faces at least 90 counts of animal neglect. 90 Puppies Found Neglected In Lakeland Home - News Story - WFTV Orlando |

| Without starting a fight with anyone, I am wondering if I am just noticing it or do Florida and Texas have more puppy mill busts than other states. I know Illinois has had quite a few so I may be calling the kettle black. Anyway I am so very glad to know that 90 more puppies have been rescued from horrendous conditions and that the news was made public. |
