She specialized in small breed dogs including Yorkies. As of yesterday volunteers were still needed.

She actually gave them up because she always does..And because she cannot afford the bond amount on the dogs. Basically bond is to keep the dogs in case she can get them back, it is for housing, food, vet care, etc.. Of course she will never get them back.

And will go to jail this time (I would hope) because they built a very strong case against her so they could. She keeps breaking her probation, she should of went to jail for that the last time.

Like i said before, why did it take them so long since the last conviction was overturned in 2000?!! Makes me angry, and makes all breeders look bad whether they breed once a year or have a commercial kennel.

I have just looked at the puppy mill video it made me cry .I thinks its horrible what them poor thing have to go though everyday.The people that own puppy mills should be lock up like the poor dogs to see what its like to be close in day after day 7days a week to see how they like it.
I think they would thing twice about running another puppy mill what the world cooming to.To see dogs treated like that it makes my blood boil just thinking about the poor thing that are still locked up From Joanne mum to Max and Cindy my babies

I agree with you 100% things should have been done what it was first looked into then alot puppie could have been saved the the conditions that they lived it.Yes if the authoritys had done there job right in the first place it does not bare thinking about how many puppies could have been save over the years.

I have been avoiding watching the video, because I knew it would be heartbreaking.. I finally watched part of it. I live in Maine , but I sure wished I lived closer, I would help if I could.. People that DONT even give basic care to there animals should be banned from EVER owning another animal. I hope this person gets jail time.. What those poor babies lived in is a CRIME!!! Being in jail would be to kind for the owner..

I just got a call from someone at the 800 number that was posted. She told me that they would not be adopting out any of the dogs taken at their facility. They are all be sent to larger shelters. I volunteered to come help and she told me it was too far for me to come just to clean out cages and I could send a check to the Hickman County fund. The address is

So sad for all those dogs. I do hope that laws are changed in the US to protect all those poor animals & make it a crime punishable by jail time!

They are working very hard to change the laws in Pennsylvania to protect the animals and change the perception of being the puppymill capital.

All it takes is public awareness to help change things.
