| No Longer a Member | 36 "yorkies" rescued from a filthy condo in Jupiter are a step closer to adoption. "Animal Care and Control" has received 500 calls inquiring about how people can adopt the dogs. Due to the high volume of calls a "yorkie hotline" has been set up. The number is: 561-233-1266. Officials say the dogs are still being processed and most will be ready for adoption within the next couple of weeks. In order to adopt one of the "yorkies" you must be a Palm Beach County resident. | This is so sad. I live in the area and this story has been all over the news. I knew people would be lined up to adopt these little sweeties. The news made it clear that these babies will need lots of special attention and people shouldn't just expect to get a perfect little yorkie.

| I hate this kind of stories!! They should keep that nurse in a small small room.. without bathroom... for a year or two... See how SHE like it! Monster she is!!! I hate her. |

| i work on an acute psych ward. i cant believe an RN did this! this just tells me that she was probably mentally unstable anyways. The 72 hr hold is what is done in psych-if they find her sick enough after 72 hours they can start committment papers and commit her for 30 or 60 days to a psych ward. Those poor dogs-i hope they all find great homes! i really feel for them all..

| "JUPITER — A registered nurse with a passion for dogs was taken from her home Friday after Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control found 36 Yorkshire terriers living in filth." "A passion for dogs" LIKE HELL!! I'm sorry, but it REALLY pisses me off that something like this can happen and for it to get so out of control! I know this stuff happens, but it really makes me mad.

| What I "don't get" is how she lived in a condo and her neighbors were not aware of the dogs. I have small ones inside my home and if anyboby passes by or knocks on my door they bark like crazy. The yorkies I have are the best barkers. Someone aside from her knew about this and kept quiet. I feel for the dogs, they don't have a voice..poor things. |

| It is VERY sad ,but folks let's all keep in mind that she obviously wasn't in her right mind and needed help herself. It might be a good idea not to be so judgemental and try to help instead of assuming that this is a bad person. It's a very upsetting story but let's be thankful that everyone is out of the situation now and hopefully life will be good for everyone involved! |

| YT 1000 Club Member | I hope they also revoke her nursing license. That's hideous. I wouldn't want her looking out for me in the hospital. Those poor innocent puppies! They didn't deserve such deplorable treatment. |
