| Well if they did get them adopted that fast, it's wonderful, bc that hopefully means they all got loving homes. I have not read anything about this story but maybe the elderly couple were loving and started out by doing something they love as well as to make an income and there age caught up with them???? senility, alhzeimers? Thank goodness it was reported and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. |

| All of the dogs and puppies have probably been spoken for but are still in the custody of the shelter and humane society. As far as that "elderly" couple. Someone in there 60's isn't exactly elderly! These people are pure and simple trash. They lived in filth so they could sell off puppies and avoid working for a living themselves. |

| I can't imagine how they fit 800 dogs and 80 birds in a trailer - even one that's triple wide. That's disgusting!

The house, a triple-wide trailer full of cages, is owned by Billy and Wanda Jones, according to Pima County Assessor records. http://rescuedogcentral.blogspot.com...600-small.html Ms. Jones has also been mentioned here in site news... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ht=wanda+jones http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ht=wanda+jones

It did say that the dogs were well fed and were taken care of. These people may have gotten in over their heads but I would hardly say they were avoiding working nor would I call them trash. I don't know them or how they got into this situation. I agree that someone in their 60's is hardly "elderly" except perhaps to someone much younger. I am in my 50's and prefer to think of this time and the next 2 decades at least as middle age and upper middle age. Last edited by puppylove17; 03-19-2008 at 04:14 PM. |

I have absolutely no sympathy for people who are that greedy! They lived in a triple wide and had urine and feces all over the floors and carpets as well as dead dogs! The dogs were not in good condition, they had food & water but no other care! That is not working in my opinion but taking advantage of the innocents & all for a buck! Disgusting!!

| This is so sad how in the world could a "Couple" give any dogs the right care??? And some of them was missing their paws??? That isn't proper care. I just hope they all get the medical treatment and loving homes they all so well deserve! |

| AND how is it that SEVERAL dogs and puppies had missing paws? I could understand one from a freak accident but how does something that horrible happen MORE than once. OK, so they did have to work a little bit to feed and water. Big deal! What about grooming and CLEANING up the mess! No sympathy here and If I keep typing I will get banned from this site! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr |
