| Two wrongs don't make a right. Who is to say if this woman would or would not steal YOUR Yorkie if she saw it and wanted it? I know I wouldn't want her around my baby. |

| I'm sure the person that took him did not steal him because she disagreed with puppies in petstores. I'm sure it was just someone looking for a free puppy and yes they would probably steal your dog too if they thought they could get away with it. With that said It is so sad to see an 8 week old puppy let alone a Yorkie being sold in a petstore. In some states they are even allowed to sell a puppy at 6 weeks. My Lilly who we got from rescue at 13 weeks was such a puppy. Someone bought her from a petstore at 6 or 8 weeks (They were unclear as to which was accurate) and kept her a week and then gave her to rescue. My guess is she was very sick and that's whay she was turned over to rescue. When we got her the rescue had over $900 in vet bills into her. She was so tiny when I got her and barely any hair. I had a terrible time finding cloths small enough and she needed them to keep warm. Of course YT was great. I had memebers here just out of the goodness of their hearts send me cloths that would fit her. I'm happy to say now that she's almost 9 months, 4 lbs, healthy and her hair has grown in nice. A sad story with a delightful ending. My favorite kind. I have a friend who has a rescue Yorkie. Hers was not as young as yours but in the same sad condition with hardly any hair. I will never understand. Not in a million years. I love my Sassy so much that my mind cannot comprehend anyone letting that happen to any one of them. | |
