| HELP!! I think Buster might be hurt ?!?!? Buster loves to jump, and he always tries to jump over the gate up the stairs - well he tried it again to day and made it half way over - but then fell backwards!! He is walking around fine - no limping - I massaged and felt around all his legs and everything seems to be ok - he didnt cry or whine or anything while I was checking him over. But he isnt trying to jump onto my lap or the couch or anything - I am thinking he just might be shook up and scared???? Hes acting normally besides the no jumping - as I type this hes humping his favorite bed. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks... __________________ |

| Poor Buster, Keep a close eye on him, it might just be he's scared, but if he's still not jumping up, I'd have him check out by the Vet just to be on the safe side. Please keep us posted on how he's doing.

| He could be scared or maybe he sprained himself when he fell over, and is trying to relax his leg. I'd give him a couple of days to see if he goes back to normal.

| Sounds like he's fine (and frisky!) but scared to jump right now. Just watch him for any limping or favoring a leg. Good luck!

| We did not think much about it when Hallee stopped jumping on the couch until a few weeks later she was limping. Her ACL was torn. She had to have surgery. I would get your baby checked out anyway. Our regular vet thought it was luxating patella which they have similiar symptoms, but the specialist said it was ACL torn in a matter of a minute of examing Hallee.
