| Urine colour Just want to find out what urine colour is normal for a healthy dog? Dark yellow, reddish yellow, light yellow or clear liquid?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Light yellow = good Dark yellow = dehydrated Reddish = possible blood Clear = overhydrated (but unlikely scenario unless ill)

| light yellow is normal. Clear is okay occasionally, especially if your dog drank a lot of water normally. But consistently clear urine may be a sign of something abnormal

| What if usually darker yellow but not reddish yellow, just darker yellow? I think Pao drinks enough water to be not dehydrated but hmmm..I really don't know. I think its his kibbles but I don't feed him a lot of kibbles. Maybe the kibbles are too rich for him? Its Orijen.

| Its been as long as I can remember and thought it is normal until my husband asked me about it today. He asked me if Pao is dehydrated. The last time I called the vet, they told me its abnormal if its clear liquid. Is it too much to ask for pictures of urine colour? I'd really like to see some pictures for comparison. I'll take some pictures when Pao pee tomorrow.

| Take him into the vet and have them take a sterile sample of your baby's urine and have a urinalysis done. It might be that he has crystals or something like that? When Miko has dark urine like that, it's usually because he's getting ready to pass a stone/crystal.
