| iching and hair loss! Has anyone any advice before the expensive vet trip. My year old 'Lola' has had fleas....ive treated these for over 4 months now and poor old lola is still scratching away at her back end. I noticed yesterday she is looking bald around her back legs and bottom. She also has brownish marks under her legs? Could this be mange and treated at home?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Kind of just bumping this for you. As for the brown spots - were they a "sore" at one point? Often times, yorkie skin will heal "brownish" and then turn normal again later, it's strange. I'd probably take her to the vet again and get a skin scrape to see if it's fungal. The brown spot isn't shaped like a ring is it?

| Best to get a skin scrape. If it is mange it cant be treated at home. My Chachi had it and had to have special dips. Many of them. It is hard to get rid of
