| natural treats for yorkies What would be some natural items found in a typical refrigerator that would be okay to give Chip instead of giving him store bought treats all the time. I know carrots are okay, but what other fruits/veggies can we give him? What about yogurt, baby food, meat, cheese type stuff?

| Reduced fat cheese. Gracie loves string cheese and sharp cheddar. I also give her crisp turkey bacon and turkey pepperoni ( I check to make sure there is no onion in it.) Now don't yell at me for giving her that processed meat. I only do it once a week or so, and even then a tiny bit. She loves it.

| I was wondering about natural treats too. I just feel so guilty, like I shouldnt give her human food because she isnt an adult...but I dont know. When I eat my cheerios, I'll give her two. haha. I'm a little shy with it obviously.

| All of the things already mentione. Mine eat boiled eggs, watermelon (no seeds), strawberries, low fat cottage cheese, celery, squash, lettuce. They like almost everything. Cheerios make great training treats. |

| Jazzie love them! I only give her one or two or three at most ... Kind of worried about too much acid upsetting her tummy.

| My kids love chopped celery, small bites, they go wacky over it. It's so cute the way they chomp it. I also give snap peas, cheddar cheese, and baby carrots.

| We have tomato plants in our backyard. Moose will "nose" them and if they fall off....they are his! He love tomatoes. He goes in the out there and smells the tomato plants all the time. I really think he knows when they are ripe. It is the cutest thing. Actually today we took the last few tomatoes off the vine. It will be a long sad winter!! lol
