| Medical Condition or Behavioral Problem? My 2 year old Yorkie, who was perfectly house trained, has begun urinating on my bathroom rug. It happened once last week and twice this week. I don't understand it? I walk him practically every 3-4 hours. My question is, could this be a sign of a urinary infection or is this a way of him trying to get attention? If anyone has any input on this please let me know.

| It could be either. Have you cleaned the rug with something like Nature's Miracle that breaks down enzymes? If this is not like your Yorkie, he needs to see a vet.

| I got rid of all my urine cleaning products because he was perfectly house trained. I am definitely calling the vet tomorrow. I just posted on here to see what others might say since my vet is closed today.

YT 500 Club Member | Ours seems to be potty trained, but we have found that she likes throw rugs occasionally. I have read other threads on here about that. I hope that yours is okay.

| He's fine now. He hasn't had an "accident" all week. I guess he just didn't like the rug.
