| Bad Cesars Wet Food??? This afternoon, Otis had diarrhea six times and barfed twice in a matter of three hours. He was shaking and extremely sick. All he had to eat this morning was a mixture of Cesar's filet mignon (the purple one) and Royal Canin. We didn't go for any walks beforehand, so the only thing I can think he got sick from was the Cesar's. He's all better now, and has regained his appetite. Anyone have this experience? |

| Aww, poor Otis! I wonder if the Cesars was bad then? I hope that doesn't happen to him again.

| There is an expiration date stamped on the side of the lil ceasers package, if you still have the one you gave him in the trash or something, maybe you can take a look at it, see what it says? Or maybe others that you purchased at the same time? poor Otis I'm glad he's feeling better...

| We used to feed Yoda Cesar for a long time (over a year), but we noticed he got diarrhea from it too. It's really sad to see a Yorkie with diarrhea!!! We usually only a week's worth at a time, so I don't think it'd be the expiration date. I'm not sure if Yoda just grew out of it or what not, but now he only gets Royal Canin dry food and chicken, sometimes we add sausage treats. I assume Otis has had the Filet Mignon flavor before, right? |

| It was refridgerated, and it was only several days old, and it was the second time he had eaten out of that tray. He didn't get sick the first time, so maybe it spoiled after several days? I never finished up this story, but later that night he was trembling so bad, he woke me up because the bed was shaking. I went into the kitchen and found blood and diarrhea all over the pee pad. There was more blood than stool. It was 5 am in the mornign and I rushed him to the emergency vet. Otis was severely dehydrated, had to get water under his skin, gave him some antidiarrea and antibacterial shots, and they wanted to keep him at the hospital. But I took him back home because I thought he would be a lot more comfortable w/ me at home. I made him tons of clear plain chicken broth to keep him hydrated. He's fine now. A little under the weather, but I took of the rest of the week to be with him. I can't think of anything else it could be except the Cesar's. |

I was scared out of my mind the other day. I love that little guy so much! I had his runny poop all over me that morning at the vet's, and I didn't even care. | |
