has anyone treated their pups with prozac? any info about it?

I have never heard of giving prozac to animals especially Yorkies.

I've heard from a trainer that there is a "prozac" for dogs, not sure exactly what it's called, but I would talk to your vet about it.

I've heard of puppy prozac, but don't know how it really works. I'd try talking with your vet.

I think people call it "puppy prozac" but dont believe it is actually the prozac we take. Its a calming med. that is mainly used for seperation anxiety. I would be afraid of giving it...hard to tell what is just a puppy being a puppy and what is actually a condition. I wouldnt even think about it until my pup was at least 1.5 years old unless extreme signs were present.
