| flea prevention Do you guys use Frontline Top Spot on your yorkies or did I read that everyone believes it is like feeding your dog a teaspoon of poison every month? I've used it in the past with no side effects but will stop if there is a chance of poisoning them in any way! |

| I don't believe it's harmful, but I do believe some people use holistic treatments.

| Any pesticide applied to the skin can cause damage (just like medicine). I do not like using anything like this but sometimes there is no choice. I only use these kinds of pesticides when I see fleas. I do not use it as a prevention. That is just my thought on it though.

| I use K9 Advantix every month, and Frontline Plus for my cat. I haven't seen any problems with it, except for them not liking it rolling on the ground trying to get it off. Sometimes I lose track of when to apply it, and before you know it I find a tick on them. |
