| How Much Yogurt? Bristol has a crappy tummy. A couple times a week she retches, mostly bile, when her tummy is empty. She is also licking and nawing on her paws a little bit, mostly as she settles in at night. It is possible that these are related. Before I change her food to a prescription diet (I feed both my babies Innova) or give her benedryl, I thought I would try some live yogurt. I did a search and I still am uncertain as to how much I should give her. Does plain yogurt have the probiotics in it? Does Activia have artificial sweetners? I am going to add Missing Link also but will make any changes one at a time. Any help would be appreciated. |

| Live yogurt is fantastic for restoring the good bacteria in their tummies, depends on the size of the dog but while she's sick you could give a couple of spoonfuls a day. My yorkies get 2 spoonfuls each twice a week as part of their raw diet but if they are not feeling good then they get more. I'm not sure on the brands of live yogurt you have where you live but just look for one that has 'live' or 'natural' or 'bio' on the label. |

| Dannon makes a "natural" brand that has nothing artificial in it (it is not the activia brand). I also really like Stoneyfield Organic. It can be flavored and also low-fat. I give my girls a heaping tablespoon each morning.

| I don't all ways have yogurt in the fridge, but when I do I get the quart size I get the Trader Joe's organic vanilla flavor. I will give chip a hefty teaspoon when I have some, he laps it up like a cat and milk. |

| I give them either the Dannon Natural vanilla or the Trader Joe's organic vanilla. They love it. And I love them, because the smell of Yogurt makes me want to puke.

| That is so funny! I am Greek and so I'm supposed to like yogurt. I think it smells like spit up. It has to be doctored with 40 fruits and a cup of sugar for me to get near it. |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | I see some dipping grapes leaves in Yougurt too... I love grape leaves but NOT with yougurt. Yo-baby comes in little tiny cartons that are baby sized. Its a lil more expensive but I like the little cartons

| I use either Stoneyfield organic or Dannon All natural vanilla. I usually buy the quart carton, and eat some myself each day! I mix in some frozen strawberries and raspberries, and it's really good!
