| HELP: treats and toys for picky yorkies my new yorkie is the pickiest dog in the world. he will not eat any treats that we give him. i've tried everything: biscuits, bacon snacks, dental bones, greenies premium natural balance treats and many more. he simply sniffs them for a couple seconds then turns his head away from it. for these reasons, I can't reward him when crate/potty training other than praising him or playing with him. HELP!!! unlike my other two dogs, he doesn't even come running when i have a treat in my hand! please give me some advice. additionally, he will only eat his food if it is moist, so i have to mix it in with wet canned food and even then he has trouble eating. he'll eat for a second, then go away. i am using premium natural balance products.. any better suggestions? and lastly. since i'm crate training him, i need toys to keep him occupied in his crate. i've tried everything... even the toys you put treats in but since he doesn't like treats, he just pushes it away.. any suggestions for picky yorkies? | I hear you, one of my girls refuses to eat treats, it's difficult to please her! No matter what i try, she gives me the most disgusting look, she will eat milk drops for dogs, and baby waffles for humans, sometimes she will have a piece of a dry tea biscuit to please me. If i dont have any baby waffle, or if i think she's had enough, she will pout. It doesnt get better, she's always been this way. Good luck! And welcome to YT!! |
