| How many times a day do you feed them? Hello, Bit is almost 8 month old now. Until 2 month ago I was feeding her 3 times/day and it was working fine. Now I feed her 2 times/day: in the morning when I get up and before I go to sleep. It isn't working very well... I think that the timings at least must be wrong... In the morning she rarely touches her food... I take it away but then, late in the afternoon, she's really hungry. I've tried to feed her in the morning and late in the afternoon, so there would be more time between the afternoon meal and the morning one, but then she wont eat in the after noon. How many times do you feed yours and at what times? Thank you |

| With my two I feed them 1/4 cup in the morning when I wake up...1/4 at noon and 1/4 at supper time...they devour it each time and it seems to work well for them..sometimes I dont think they are getting enough so I will give them another 1/4 at lunch or supper but no..they dont want it..so I know they are quite content..plus they are a good weight and very active...have you tried measuring out the whole days food and letting her free feed..I did that for a looooooooooong time with Reece and it worked great but decided this was a better way to monitor them with another big dog and two cats who like to nibble on their food.. | I feed twice a day, no exact time but usually 8-9am and 6-7pm. I also feed small snacks throughout the day and before bed. |
