| We are lucky enough to have a vet who is a member on another forum I belong to. She said the only over the counter tapeworm medication that is safe and effective has to contain praziquantel. Farnum makes a product called D-Worm that you can buy without a prescription. The package says not for use on puppies under four weeks of age, though. How old are the puppies? I believe Petco has D-Worm. KV Vet also carries it for a lot less. http://www.kvvet.com/KVVet/productr....FBD238EA8FA470 |

| I would check with your vet to be safe if it were me. You can get the pills through him. The fleas are awful this year! I have used Frontline for years on Lady and my two cats, but it isn't working this summer. I switched to Advantage (cats)and K9 Advantix (Lady) last month and I still found a live flea on Lady yesterday when I bathed her! I have been a fanatic about washing bedding, vacuuming, even used carpet powder, but they must still be hatching in my carpet. Lady is pee pad traiined so she doesn't go outside. I hate fleas! |
