| Abby just got spayed I feel so bad for her. When I went to go get her she was so pitiful, she tried to get hyper and all when she saw me, but she just couldnt do it. Now she's laying around and shaking. I feel so bad for her. I cant believe she has to take 3 pills a day for a week. That just makes it worse cause she hates pills

| Poor baby. Why are they giving her pills for 3wks.? Never heard of that before. I dread when I have to have Kayla spayed. She is 14wks. old and they are so tiny it just seems worse I guess for them being so little. I hope your baby does good. Bless their little hearts. It has to be hard on them with them being so hyper all the time. lol!!! I wonder if Kayla will even be still then. She is something else. Give kisses to your baby and Mandy, Tina and Kayla are wishing her well. |

| Her pup was just spayed . The pain medication or anti inflammatory is a good thing. Shaking is a sign of pain, so make sure she stays on her meds until she feels better. Warmly, Deborah

| If the pill is not a capsule, try placing in a piece of cheese to hide and she will probably swallow it down.

| I know how you feel, after Indy was spayed I felt really guilty, I was in tears over it. However I know it was best for her and she recovered quickly. She diden't have to take that many pills for that long though. |

| abby just got spayed I am sure she will be fine. Tricksie was spayed at 6 months and weighed 5 lbs and you would never know that she had anything done to her. I was a mess and she was fine. Good luck

| What was the medication for? I've never had one put on medication after a spay, so was just wondering what could be wrong with your little girl. I'm sure she will be just fine, but join the ranks of worried moms when it comes to our fur-kids. |

| she has to take a half of a pill (her painkillers) and antibiotics every morning and night. I'm not sure what the antibiotics are for, I didnt ask. but when i got home i thought it was weird. I guess they are just to prevent infection or something. she keeps squating to pee on her pads, but nothing is coming out. she is doing it a lot. is that normal???

| wow..three pills a day??? my baby just got spayed 2 days ago and she was kinda weak and sleepy when i picked her up at 6pm but she was back to her happy self by 9pm..the vet gave me some liquid pain med but only gave her once the next morning since she doesn't need it at all..she is happy and eating/sleeping/playing as usual. 3 pills a day seem really strange but how old is your baby? mine is 3.5lb and almost 6months. i hope she gets better..i know how you feel..i was an emotional wrack that day that she got spayed..but she was fine and happy.. |

| I was a wreck too. yesterday she was so pitiful and could barely stand or walk but today she is all back to normal. except for the peeing thing. she has peed 3 times today, once when she first woke up, once when she woke up from a nap, and once from excitement. other than that, she keeps going to her pad and squating, but nothing is coming out.

No Longer a Member | Poor Abby...give her lots of extra kisses! Chloe just got spayed yesterday too. She has been very weak and sleepy since she got home. She hasn't eaten much--she had a little chicken and some cheese. She is finally perking up this evening. I know she's still in pain though. Poor thing, when she saw me getting the chicken, she jumped off the couch before anyone could grab her, and when she landed she cried a little . We didn't get any pills. I paid the extra fee for the pain medication, and I think all it was was an injection that they gave her before she went home. |
