| I was feeding my whole crew Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier 28, however, I had 2 bitches that were destroying their coats with scratching and hot spots. I switched both of them to Eukanuba Yorkshire Terrier and have had no problems since. Both are growing coat nicely and best of all no more hot spots.

I've heard such good things about this food also that I'm considering it for the Yorkie's. I feed my border collie the medium breed small bites and she is healthy as a horse so to speak and has a gorgeous shinny coat. I'm beginning to think they have improved it so much its worth trying. I'm so glad Chloe is doing better and gaining weight finally!!! | |

| I feed my tiny puppies, from 3 to 8 weeks old, the Eukanuba small bites for small dogs. It is not my first choice as far as ingredients, BUT they do well on it, and the bites are extremely small. I can't find that size bite in another quality dog food until I discovered a new one called: "Extension" It is actually called Holistic Health Extension. It is VERY new out there and is excellent as far as ingrendients. Anyway, once my pups are 8 weeks old, I begin them on Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice for puppies. For me, it is the only food out there at a fairly decent price, that you can get at Petsmart or Petco. I know alot of folks like the Royal Canin and it does have some good ingredients, but it has corn in it, which alot of yorkies have allergies to. It all depends on your dog and what he or she does well with. Try to find a food with quality ingredients. Flintriver Ranch is another that is an EXCELLENT choice. I use it also. I mix it w/my Nutro Natural Choice lamb and rice. Marsha Pressley Miracle Yorkies NC |
