| Yokie food I have a fifteen month old male yokie, and he seems to be picky about what I fed him. Is there a good combination of soft food and dry food? What shoul I be feeding him? Treats Etc. Is thre any people food that would harm him? He has never had diarreah, but he does seem to spit up and gag alot, kind of like a cat choking on a fur ball. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Some good people food snacks are white meat chicken, boiled, no skin, fat or seasonings, cooked green beans, carrot, apple (no peeling), cook and peeled white and sweet potato... A couple good kibbles are Wellness and Canidae. You might also try Merrick or Evangers canned food.

| As suggested above, try some good quality kibble. Always look at the ingredients. Most certainly don't want any by-products. I have found that it helps get my furbabies to eat the kibble by putting just a little water over it. I've heard of using a little no-salt broth. My little ones like no-salt string beans and no-sugar yogurt. Look for natural treats without fillers. JMHO There are dried meats available in the pet stores. I just cut them into tiny pieces for treats. There is a member of this forum that sells Yorkie Yummies. There's been a very positive response to her product. I just ordered some yesterday.
