We've found two hard crust like bumps on the top of Rusty's head and behind his ear. At first we thought it was scabs from an cut he might have gotten but I'm worried it might be something else.

just sounds like scabs from scratching. Is there a way you can post pictures?

i think i knoew what you are talking about! Layla had a scab on the top of her head.. it was perfectly round... and the scab would come off and it would be red skin.. then the scab woudl come back.. we wen to the vet and he didnt' think it was anything.. well now the scab is gone and she has a small bald spot.. lol... thank goodness her hair covers it!! can you take a picture of it?
