| Which CANIDAE do you use??? our baby is 9 months old, and we are taking him off of puppy food at 10 months. After plenty of research we have decided to return our Royal Canin Yorkie mix and go with Canidae. I am having trouble decided which would be best for him, please list your reasons why you use what you use. -ALL LIFE STAGES -LAMB & RICE -CHICKEN & RICE -PLATINUM Thanks

| My first recommendation would be All Life Stages. Ellie seems to be allergic to lamb so we cannot use it but it is my first choice. I would choose this kind because it is more meaty than some. We just started on the Chicken and Rice. It is the only one we can use in case she really does have a lamb allergy.

My furkids Donating Member | I feed all the meat sources. All of their brands are all stages..meaning you can feed to puppies as well as adults. The chicken would be used for dogs with sensitive tummies. The platinum would be used for senior dogs. I am friends with a woman that owns a pet store (NO ANIMALS!! JUST PRODUCTS) And this is what she told me. She sells all the top brand foods. And the good thing about Canidae is they manufacture their own product...

| wow... thanks everyone. So far, Peanut has a pretty good stomach, so I think we will probably end up trying the All Stages. I just got scared after reading all the info about Royal Canin. you get excited seeing a specially formulated product directed at the breed, but it doesn't seem to be all it's cracked up to be. He had Royal Canin as a puppy and is in good health with no problems with the food. But I want to find whats right and stick with it. Thank you all so much for the quick response!
