| Avoderm dog food Both my babies; one who is 5 months, the other 2 1/2 years have been only fed Royal Canin. I came across Avoderm which seems like a great product. My older pup loves the taste and does not itch as much. I would like to share this, because of all the allergies our babies get. Has any one heard of this item being recalled, or any other negative? I wish to feed them ONLY the best. Is Royal Canin still a good dog food? |

| I'm thinking about switching to Avoderm, too. It's either that or Artemis. My new pup, Lily was on Royal Canine when I got her. From everything I have read it's really not the best food at all. Also, there is a bunch of products on the recall list: http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/script...TEN%29&pet=Dog I live in SD also. Do you know places that sell Avoderm? I've only found one place in Bonita that sells Artemis.

| Avoderm I know that Petco in San Marcos carries it so you might try giving your local Petco a call to see if they also have it. I know that each Petco varies in the product they carry. I also just didn't switch the food all of a sudden, I mixed the Royal Canin in with the Avoderm so it would not be a total shock to the body. Hope this helps |

| I ended up getting some at Petco. It actually smells kinda good. The kids seem to like it. I also boiled some green beans and have been giving those as treats. Let me tell ya...they LOVE them. And they're so much better than regular dog treats.

| I been staying away from the dog treats as well. Edamame is what my kids lovethe best (the green beanie thingy's that they serve with sushi, they go crazy for them) They have them pre-cooked from Costco, and all ya do is pop em in the microwave for 2 to 2 1/2 mins, they are a great and healthy snack for us and our furry friends!!! |

| I have had a good response with the dry. My dogs dont itch as much, and its better for them than Royal Canin. |

| Payton, it seems like my pups are pooping twice as much now. Maybe it's the green beens I've been giving as treats.
