| To be honest, I would never let my dog stay at a vet office over night with no staffing after surgery. It is too risky. If there would be someone there, that's fine, but what if he has a problem from the surgery? Noone would know.

| I think it should go something like this. Can I bring my dog home tomorrow evening? No, you cannot. What if I sign a release? Nope, we don't allow it. Then I will have to get him neutered somewhere else.

| Mine came home after their surgery. I would ask the Vet if you can bring him home since no one is there at night anyway

| That is good because I wouldn't be letting him "sleep off" any medication there alone. What if he has a reaction and noone knows? They will also put a cone collar on him I am sure. I am not exactly sure how save those are. lol I'm being a pessimist today.

| I used to work at a vets office for six months,i could not handle it. At 5.00pm when we closed they turned all the lights off no one stayed, i just could not understand this and we could not get upset or show emotion when some lost a dog or had to put one to sleep. they also put babies to sleep for no reason if a owner requested it,i think that is so wrong, call a rescue group. it was such a reaaal cold place to work. im so glad im not there anymore. |

| Well, first I made a typo earlier. It really bothers me when I do that. I put save but meant safe. Anyway. Ellie's vet has 24 hour staffing and all 24 hours there is a VET there, not just a tech. It is really nice. Of course they have about 9 doctors working there.
