| I noticed that all the commercial dog foods recommended (i.e., Orijen, Fromm, etc.) contain ingredients that dogs may be allergic to....eggs, chicken, lamb, and dairy. What healthy commercially prepared dog foods are recommended for dogs with allergies? |

| California Naturals is recommended for dogs with allergies. It only has one meat and one grain source. I wouldn't worry about dairy in dog food unless you know that your dog is allergic. Things like cottage cheese are very good for them in small amounts. Eggs are also very good, so every person has to do what's right for their own dog. Ellie seemed to be allergic to lamb, so she doesn't get anything lamb based anymore. I have never heard about chicken allergies before.

| Dogs are rarely allergic to eggs or chicken. Live yogurt and cottage cheese are very good for dogs. Lamb doesen't usually cause allergies but there are obviously exceptions. Most common ingredients for them to be allergic to are pork, gluten, corn and sometimes beef. Most important thing to remember is that every dog is individual and what suits one may not suit another. |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | I have fed Peeka Royal Canine puppy mini33 since i got him and he has done amazing on it i love this food it's tiny enough for them and IMO i think it is a good quality food. Daisy is also on it and she is flourishing they both have nice heathly coats and are really healthy. Also this was one of the few foods that was not recalled in that huge ordeal it made me very happy to know that it seemed safer.
