| Gatorade???? Is gatorade bad for yorkies?? We were walking Mooose and realized we didn't have water for him. He seemed thirsty so we gave him "a little bit of gatorade". He loved it, but was wondering if it could make him sick?

| No it is fine. I always have some in my house in case My furkids or My skin kid gets sick. I gave my yorkies some the other day because they had been out in the heat

| I was hoping it would be ok...I know it is good to replenish humans, but I was afraid it would be to much for our furbabies!

| It might be an issue if it has artificial sweeteners, but I don't think the regular Gatorade does.

| Gatorade won't hurt them. My vet was the one that suggested it to me. That's not a bad idea to keep some on hand.

| We gave it to Emma when she was sick a few times, instead of Pedialyte, since she was eating ok. Our vet recommended it too-it's fine, and shouldn't have artificial sweeteners if you use the regular kind. I think the RAIN kind has fake sugars in it.
