Please Someone Help!!!! Okay guys Miss Razzle was fine last night when we went to bed but in the middle of the night she woke me up crying. I thought she had to go potty. I took her out and she was trying her little heart out to use the bathroom but couldn't I gave her the canned pumpkin and it's still done no good. Now she acts like she can't walk and she won't eat or drink anything. She just keeps lying around and I'm very concerned!!!!

I agree, get to an emergency vet right a way. Canned pumpkin is for diahrrea , not constipation.

I was told by the vet when I was worried that Max was constipated, to use canned pumpkin, but only a very small amount.

Pumpkin can go both ways. I'd stop with the pumpkin. Do you know how to give an enema? The Vet. will use a rubber catheter connected to a plastic syringe or enema bag. They use the packaged saline laxative enemas and nothing containing Phosphate. They lubricate the syringe and insert into the rectom 2". I guess this can be done at home too. After your baby is back to normal, you may want to add some oil to the diet each day.

| Yes, like yorkiedaze said, a baby enema kit can be used if this is an emergency situation...If you do this, do it in a bath tub with warm water, and there are instructions online on how to do this to your dog. Just be careful.

If I remember coprrectly, this is the little one that had the poop stuck to her behind and couldn't go. Did you wash her butt and trim the hair. If that has been done, then you need to get her to the vet because she is impacted. she is too tiny to take any risks with.
