| Anyone feed Merrick~HELP..need to buy today! does anyone feed your babies anything out of the merrick line? i know they get a 5 star on dogfood.com but wanted your expert opinions! if so, which flavor do you buy? suki is 9 months old (8.5 lbs) so i think i should get her the adult since the puppy food has so much fat. i have read different opinions on when to switch. what do you guys think? i am out of dry food so need to find something i can buy at a feed store. if not, she will just have to make do with brown rice and chicken

| I tried Merrick with Conner. He did not like the pieces of dried fruits, peas and carrots in the food (although he loves apples and carrots). He really did not eat it well. I sent an email to Wellness and Candidea. They sent me sample sizes. Conner really liked both, but the Wellness was a little bit too large. I just went out yesterday and bought the Canidae and he really likes it.

I use the Merrick dry kibble and the wet food (just to coat the dry food to make it flavorful). I mix both Merrick and EVO together. I get the turducken or the chicken pot pie although I think everything is good . . my babies preference is chicken so that is why I get that flavor | |

| I feed only Merrick. As far as Adult food I use Cowboy Cookout & Granny's Pot Pie. Right now I'm using Puppy Plate and Pot Pie because Jersey is 7 months and Daisy is 2. So I mix them both. They love it. You can use warm water on top of it and it will make Gravy. Havent tried that though.

| I use only Merrick's too. We use Grammy's Pot Pie.The thing with all their food to is that it is made for all life stages, so you can feed it to a puppy or adult dog. We use dry and like the other poster we mix it with a bit of their canned. My other dog is so picky[non Yorkie] My Yorkie is really a piggy . I feel really safe using their food. |
